 Hey there, I'm Maryam, a high school junior with a heart captivated by the world of art. Painting is my passion, and each stroke tells a unique story. I find immense joy in unveiling my creations at exhibitions, weaving stories through my paintings, and hoping to spark inspiration in anyone who gazes upon them. When I'm not lost in the canvas, you'll likely find me on the court, chasing hoops or kicking up a storm in soccer. These weekend adventures recharge my spirit, gearing me up for the challenges of school. And picture this! Picture this: I'm 12, wrapping up seventh grade, and suddenly, something's not right. My head's pounding, I'm dizzy, and I can barely walk straight, let alone focus. Next thing I know, I'm in a hospital bed, and bam—type 1 diabetes is the diagnosis. Fast forward to now, I'm four years deep into this journey, and let me tell you, I've picked up a few tricks along the way.
